# Run Mode

## Run Mode Selection

Choose the appropriate run mode for your model plan based on your needs:

* **Normal (Default):** Balanced search time and performance.
* **Fast:** Speeds up the search process (\~4x faster than Normal mode).
* **Best:** Expands the search space for optimal results (\~4x slower than Normal mode).

By default, Kumo optimizes the search space to balance training time and performance. In **Normal** mode, it automatically ensures a reasonable search duration with near-optimal results. However, you can adjust the run mode based on your available training time and performance requirements.
