# forecast_length

#### `forecast_length: <integer>` (Optional)

## Description

Turns a node regression problem into a forecasting problem. The given target is forecasted for `forecast_length` steps into the future. This only applies to temporal queries (queries that include a temporal aggregation such as `SUM(TRANSACTIONS.AMOUNT, 0, 2, days))`.

### Supported Task Types

* Forecasting

### Example

In the following query, a value of `forecast_length=3` will forecast the sum for the next 3, 7-day windows.
